I'm just a girl who loves reading more than life itself. A day without a book is a day gone wrong, in my opinion :) Looking forward to meeting new people, talking to them about books and spreading the bookish love!
"Not like" is actually pretty harsh, and not entirely accurate, but it's the closest I could get in the title (unless I wanted said title to be three sentences long, of course). I do enjoy dystopians, and I have read mostly good dystopians that were engrossing, well written, interesting, etc... But... well, to understand that but, read on.
Among the books I own, only about 5% are dystopians. Considering I own close to 220 books (at the moment, excluding books in Hebrew and mangas :>), you can understand that's quite an overwhelming ratio. Diving in deeper, I've read, from those 5%, maybe two or three books. The rest are still unread.
Among those unread there are some insanely popular titles, such as Under the Never Sky, Divergent, Gone and more.

I bought those books, naturally, because I planned to read them. I still do, now more then ever, thanks to my persona "Cleaning my Shelves" challenge. They are all books people never stop gushing about, all exclaimed as some of the best literary works of the decade.
And yet, here they sit, unread and untouched, passed over in favor of fantasy and contemporary titles who came long after them to sit on my shelves. That was my first clue, that Dystopians might not be 100% my thing.
